Advanced Web Ranking

Advanced Web Ranking is an excellent tool that takes the guesswork out of SEO tracking, Launch Jacking. Competitive analysis is a tedious task especially if you have dozens of websites and thousands of keywords to keep an eye on.

Advanced Web Ranking comes in four versions — Standard, Pro, Enterprise, and Server. The Standard version is already packed with rank tracking features, but if you want a keyword research tool like Google Suggest or Word Tracker, localized search results, customizable reports and other advanced modules, you may want to get the Pro or Enterprise versions.

How to use Advanced Web Ranking

When you launch Advanced Web Ranking you will see 3 important tabs: Search Engines, Keywords, and Websites.

On the first tab, select from more than 1,000 search engines including Google, Yahoo, Bing and country specific search engines.

Put all your keywords on the second tab. You can color code them for easier tracking.

On the third tab, add the domains you want to track. They can be your own sites, your competitors’ or the top competing websites listed in the Top Sites report.

Advanced Web Ranking results

When you run the program, Advanced Web Ranking will show you results for current rank, keyword rank, search engine rank, top sites, visibility, and keyword analysis.

The Current Rank tab displays a trend line graph as well as actual figures for the current rankings of your keywords for each website and search engine. Select the keyword, search engine, and website on the left pane to view your current position, previous position, position jump since last tracking, and the best ranking you’ve achieved for that period. You can also filter results to show only keywords which are in the top 10, keywords that are ranking, or keywords that moved up or down.

The Keyword Rank tab shows similar metrics such as current and previous positions, change, and best rank and keywords can also be grouped by search engine and domain. You can choose the Category Data view option if you have lots of keywords and sites. If you have color coded your keywords, you can easily view trends for each one of them on the progress line graph.

The Search Engine tab shows where your site ranks for a particular keyword on a specific search engine. Multiple dates enable you to compare daily trends as they go up and down the graph.

The Top Sites tab shows the top 10, 20, 30, 50 or 100 sites that are ranking for a specific keyword in a specific search engine. Add these top sites to the websites you are tracking so you can keep a close watch on the competition.

The Visibility tab is like an overall summary of all the data you need for SEO tracking. It will show you all the sites, keywords and search engines you are monitoring with metrics such as visibility score, visibility percent, site rank, and average site rank.

The Keyword Analysis tab basically displays keyword density — the number of times a word or phrase appears on a site or page. It also shows on-page info such as meta information, alt tags, page title, link text, and page rank.

Advanced Web Ranking for advanced users

If you have the Pro version, you can easily create custom reports for your boss, your client, or your own records.

If you have the Enterprise version, you can filter search engines by location and track rankings in different cities in the US as well as capitals of other countries.
